METEOROLOGY

The basic theoretical-practical course in Aeronautical Meteorology has as its objective the acquisition of methodologies for analyzing and evaluating meteorological conditions before and during a flight mission. The theoretical aspect will be centered on the analysis of the weather documentation. The practical part includes 4 flight missions planned and executed by the students from a meteorological point of view. The following events will be covered during the practical part:
Ice formations and effects on on-board instrumentation
Effects of wind on air navigation
Effects of cumulinum clouds on the flight path
Windshear

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum age 16 years
Knowledge of the English language (ICAO Level 3 minimum)
