The drone is capable of taking video and photographic shots of details of the state of the earth of the emerged structures and of the deck of a bridge, a dam and in general of complex structures, difficult to access. This inspection activity can generally be carried out during normal operation of the infrastructure.
In Italy the number of photovoltaic systems exceeds 650,000 units, for a total power of almost 20 Gigawatts. These plants need maintenance activities which, if not carried out effectively, lead to a significant reduction in production and therefore in revenues. A drone equipped with a thermal imaging camera and a geolocation system can quickly identify the problems/deteriorations of each single panel and thus allow effective intervention.
