UAV VL/MC CLASS RATING
The UAV VL / MC Class rating Course allows the qualification to pilot Multicopter Class (MC) drones, Very Light (VL) category. The VL category includes all drones weighing more than 0.3 kg but less than 4 kg. The VL / MC Class Rating course is composed of a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part, specific to the drone used, focuses on the technical characteristics of the drone and lasts one hour. At the end of the theoretical part, the candidate will be submitted to a Theoretical Exam related to the technical characteristics and performance of the specific UAV. Following the theoretical TEST “passed” result, the practical part is accessed. The practical course includes a minimum of 12 missions of at least 10 minutes and final SKILL TEST with Flight Examiner ENAC.
Holding an UAV Pilot Licence (Attestato Allievo Pilota APR ENAC Licence), in Category and Class different from VL / MC. Current EASA Class 2 Medical Certificate (Requirements for EASA LAPL License)
USERS Drone Pilots in possession of the Attestato Allievo Pilota APR ENAC Licence
1 hour classroom training
2 hours of practical exercises - 12 flight missions (minimum flight activity)
DURATION OF THE COURSE
Theoretical / practical course: 1 day lectures (including theoretical exam) +1 day practical exercises + practical exam skill TEST ENAC
The VL / MC Class Rating course expect a theoretical-practical exam. Upon passing the exam, the VL / MC Class rating will be recorded on the student’s licence.
